He was worried that he wouldn't be able To finish everything he wanted to do in his lifetime.
One day, he encountered a Shinigami and asked if he Could grant him the power to see his remaining lifespan.
The Shinigami agreed to grant him the ability to obtain the Shinigami eyes in exchange for his soul.
The Man agreed and was granted the Shinigami eyes, but was disappointed . His lifespan read zero for everything.
